Meditation Monday!

This week we are looking at the beautiful practice of Ho'oponopono.

Originating in Hawaii, The Ho'oponopono technique is an ancient art of problem solving, which has been used by the Kahuna over many years.

Once upon a time the Ho'oponopono would be recited as a family, with all members gathering to recite the words and to ask one another for forgiveness. With our more modern way of living, with family members spread out all over the country, or even the world, this is no longer possible. And so in 1983 Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona created 'Self Identity through Ho'oponopono and the technique was brought into the modern world.

This little known transformational technique helps us to come to the realisation that everything happening to you right now, in every moment, is happening in your own mind. We all interpret every situation differently. If you were standing in a room with 10 other people, each one of you would perceive the experience in your own unique way. Therefore by taking responsibility for our own thoughts and actions, we will change our entire perception of life. It is very simple to perform, by simply repeating these words:

"I am Sorry, Please Forgive me, Thank You, I Love You."

As we step into Saturday, the cosmos is inviting us to slow down, breathe deeply, and root ourselves. The New Moon in Ta**us is here, and it's bringing a beautiful, much-needed shift in the wind.

Whilst the last moon was all about the spark of inspiration, Ta**us is where we plant those seeds into fertile soil. For the bohemian soul - the wanderer who also craves a sacred sanctuary - this lunar cycle is a reminder that growing a beautiful life takes patience, presence, and a little bit of dirt under your fingernails.

It’s time to stop rushing the magic.

Grounding Rituals for this Saturday:
Connect with the Earth: Step outside barefoot, feel the grass beneath your feet, or spend some time repotting your favorite green companions. Let the earth absorb your worries.

Awaken the Senses: Brew a slow cup of herbal tea, light a candle, and play some acoustic tunes. Ta**us thrives in physical comfort and beauty.

Crystal Charging: Place your favorite grounding stones - like smoky quartz, moss agate, or tiger’s eye - on the window sill to soak up this rich, earthy lunar energy.

A Moment of Forest Bathing from the Space Where You Sit.

Open the window and close your eyes. Take a deep breath and breathe the scent of the earth. As you exhale, listen to the sounds of the world around you. As you listen to the rustling of the trees, the distant city hum, or the song of the birds, feel the natural world grounding your energy and resetting your nervous system Rest here for 5 minutes, or as long as you can spare. When you reopen your eyes, notice the light as it dances through the trees you were just listening to. Watch the clouds as they drift by, and the birds that fly below them, and give gratitude for these beautiful moments on time.
