BOURNVILLE, WHAT A WAY TO FINISH AUGUST!

Another brilliant day on the Green & another reminder of why Bournville is one of our absolute fave spots to pop up.

The sun was shining, the traders were on top form & you lot came out to support us once again. We had such a lovely day!

And that’s us done for August! What a cracker of a month it’s been. We’ve been all over Brum & honestly, we can’t thank you enough for showing up, shopping local & supporting all the brilliant BAM independents who make our markets what they are.

September is looking SUPER & we’ve got plenty more market days coming your way, so keep your eyes peeled for what’s coming next!

It is utterly brilliant to be amongst the great and the good of Birmingham’s ridiculously creative, talented and independent scene for this year’s International Day of Birmingham.

I mean… just LOOK at the names on this poster!!!

To see Birmingham Artisan Markets CIC sitting alongside so many people, organisations and businesses doing genuinely exciting things in this city is a proper pinch-me moment.

Birmingham’s independent scene is full of people who make things happen, usually with a slightly alarming amount of determination, caffeine and making-it-up-as-we-go-along energy. And I bloody love being part of it.

On 24th & 25th of September we’ll be taking over the Council House to celebrate the city, its creativity, its culture and, most importantly, the brilliant Brummies behind it all.

Absolutely chuffed to be involved.

WE’VE GOT A LOVELY ONE LINED UP THIS WEEKEND…

Saturday we’re back in beautiful St Paul’s Square, joining the St Paul’s Summer Fete for a proper community day in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter.

Our traders will be there alongside live music, great food & plenty going on for all the family. It’s been a little while since we’ve popped up in the square, so we’re really looking forward to this one!

Then Sunday we’re heading over to Bournville Green, one of our favourite spots to spend a Sunday. There’s always such a lovely atmosphere on the Green & we can’t wait to be back with the Bournville crowd!

Whether we catch you in the JQ, Bournville or both, we’d love to see you.

Bournville Artisan Market returns to beautiful Bournville Green from 11am–3pm, bringing another cracking bunch of independent makers, bakers, artists, designers, foodies and all-round talented humans with us.

Come for a wander, have a browse, grab something delicious and spend your Sunday supporting brilliant local independents.

ARE YOU READY, KINGS HEATH?!

This Sunday is looking like an absolute belter!

Not only have we got a cracking line-up of brilliant independent traders joining us, but the whole of Kings Heath is getting involved for the Big Summer Weekend, so wherever you wander, there’ll be something going on.

Grab a craft beer at Schooners Tiny Beer Festival (or a cocktail from SpiritofBirmingham Distillery if that’s more your thing), tuck into something delicious from smoke + ash 🍕’s horsebox, have a rummage at THE WHAT SHOP’s brilliant clothes swap inside Hare & Hounds, then bop along to Leftfoot DJing out on York Road.

Fancy something a bit different? Head over to the Hare fir Blow Water 吹水 ® 🌊 Baby Rave, or if a slower pace is more your vibe, there’s a Stream of Wellbeing workshop at the Kings Heath Community Centre too.

Basically... clear your diary. Come for the market, stay for the day!

We’ll be there from 10am until 3pm with loads of amazing local makers, artists, bakers, brewers, street food & all the lovely independent businesses that make these markets what they are.

Sunday 9th August
Kings Heath Artisan Market

Kings Heath is going to be buzzing! Leftfoot will be DJing on York Road, Whatshop are hosting a clothes swap at The Hare, Schooners have their Tiny Beer Festival, there’s a wellness event at the Community Centre and loads more happening all across the high street. We can’t wait for this one.

Saturday 15th August
JQ Artisan Market and St Paul’s Summer Fete
St Paul’s Square, Jewellery Quarter

For one day only we’re back in beautiful St Paul’s Square, teaming up with the brilliant St Paul’s Summer Fete. Expect live music, great food, plenty for the family and a cracking line-up of independent traders.

We’ll finish off another busy weekend on lovely Bournville Green with one of our favourite community markets. Good food, brilliant traders and hopefully a bit of sunshine too! 🤞☀️
