Sometimes the best thing to do for a customer is not to just take their money...its to just simply give them some advice

When they come to you and have big ideas and big plans for what they want to do. But you know what they're asking isn't going to work. It's not always correct to just take money and do the work regardless.

Today I had a customer who brought me two toy grade RC cars for his 9-year-old lad both broken and both not worth spending any money on. So I showed him some hobby grade RC cars I have, went through some options with him and he was surprised that you can get an actually decent hobby grade RC car for a good price.

Showed him some links on Facebook marketplace. Fully fully kitted out with batteries, radio ect..things like the Arrma grom. Bigrock ect..

The customer left without spending any money with me but he did have a better understanding of where to spend his money and sometimes just helping people is the best thing to do.
