Every piece has evolved over time.

Every piece is unique.

Every piece has been agonised over, maybe even lost sleep over.

Every piece is the culmination of moments, thoughts and experiences.

Wow what a privilege to be part of its story 🤍

We should not feel the need to justify the price of our work.

In fact, it’s very often under-priced.

When you consider the hours that have gone into getting it out into the world.

I sold the pot in the first slide last weekend to a lovely lady who was, in many ways, the dream client.

She bought it because it spoke to her. It stopped her in her tracks. She considered it. She asked the price and was surprised it wasn’t more. She understood what it had taken for it to come into being.

She loved it. She could afford it. So she bought it.

She didn’t just buy a pot. She bought a one-off artwork that grew from a practice that has evolved over a lifetime.

I was happy to sell the pot but even more elated that it had gone to someone who would value it for years to come 🤍

We had such a busy weekend, we are now out of stock on many items, so this week I will be sourcing new stock.

I always try and offer a balanced edit of all my favourite things, but I’m intrigued to know…

What a day!

Such a warm and friendly vibe down at the new Bournville Farmer’s Market today. The sun was shining, you came out to support in your droves, we had music, food & laughter….& lots of cute dogs!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to mooch, pass a compliment on my stall or make a purchase. I value you all. It’s such a thrill when you find your people 🙏

Thanks also to Rachael & her super efficient team for a really well organised market, and for inviting us to be a part of what I hope to be the first of many Farmer’s Markets on The Green 💚

Lots of beautiful things to add Autumnal styling touches to your home on the table today.

Less than a week to go until one of my favourite events of the year - the Fabulous Places Autumn Market.

A beautiful event, exquisite styling and so much shopping inspiration for the season ahead bought to you by a wonderful group of talented creators and curators.

Autumn is upon us and I am starting to lean into the shift in seasons . I find myself subconsciously introducing soft muted tones of caramel, ochre & dusky pinks into my interior palette to reflect the changing hues outside my window. Tactile pieces like this vintage amphora style ceramic full of rustic charm are perfect for displaying faded blooms.
