We have a large range of fabric packs to choose from including fat quarters, charm packs, layer cakes, jelly rolls, strip rolls and patchwork palettes. You can buy our fabrics by the metre or purchase one of our pre-cut fabric pack

s. We have a comprehensive range of fabric designs with specialist areas such as Christmas fabrics, novelty fabrics, patchwork blenders, batiks fabrics, japanese fabrics and floral fabrics. You can find fabrics from leading patchwork fabric designers such as Kaffe Fassett and the Kaffe Fassett Collective, Amy Butler, Heather Bailey, Nancy Halvorsen, Valori Wells, Tanya Whelan, Robyn Pandolph and Tone Finnanger. We also hold possibly the largest range of quilting waddings and battings in the UK. Made from natural fibres such as cotton, wool, silk and bamboo as well as polyester waddings and blends. Our haberdashery and notions sections have hundreds of tools for patchwork and quilters, as well as general sewers, to make their life easier. Rotary cutters, patchwork rulers and rotary cutting mats are one of the main innovations in patchwork and quilting of the last twenty years and we have a superb range. We stock leading manufacturers such as Omni, Olfa and Clover ensuring that if you are looking for patchwork rotary cutting tools you need look no further. With a selection of over five hundred books on patchwork and quilting The Cotton Patch really is the one-stop shop for patchwork and quilting supplies.

The Festival of Quilts is officially underway at the NEC Birmingham!

Half of the Cotton Patch team are busy welcoming visitors on Stand B32, while the rest are back at the shop preparing and despatching online orders and looking after our customers. It's a busy but exciting time for everyone!

This year marks Clover's 100th Anniversary, and we're delighted to have our biggest-ever range of Clover notions on display. Clover continues to develop innovative, high-quality tools for quilters and sewists, with exciting new products including the Metal Hera Marker with Stylus, Quick Cut Thread Cutter, Stuffing Tool, Fabric Tube Maker, Double Tracing Tool and Water Erasable Tracing Paper.

Be sure to visit Clover Stand E62 to see these fantastic products demonstrated, then come over to our Cotton Patch Stand B32 to purchase your favourites.

We're also delighted to welcome Robin Long, who will be demonstrating her Mariner's Compass Rulers on our stand at the following times:

Robin will also be presenting her lecture at 3pm on Friday, where she'll be showcasing a selection of her beautiful quilts.

Today, Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably will also be signing copies of Quilts at an English Manor between 3pm and 4pm. The book is receiving a special pre-launch at Festival, but if you can't make it to the show, you can pre-order your copy now and we'll despatch it during Festival week.

Alongside all of this, we'll have a fantastic selection of Moda precuts available, including Charm Packs, Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes and more, featuring both the latest collections and great offers on previous favourites.

And of course, our famous Scrap Bags, Snippets and Selvedge Strips are back! These are always among the first items to sell out, especially the selvedge strips, so if they're on your shopping list, don't wait until the last day.

Are you visiting the Festival of Quilts at the NEC this year?

Save on postage by selecting Collect at Festival when you place your order online. We'll have your order ready for collection from Stand B32 during the show.

To guarantee your order is ready in time for collection at the show, please place your order by Sunday evening.

If you'd prefer, you can also collect from our Birmingham shop, which is only around 20 minutes by car from the NEC. We're open Monday to Friday, 10am–3pm, and we'd love to welcome you.

Please note for overseas customers: To use the Collect at Festival option, you'll need to enter The Cotton Patch's UK address as the delivery address when placing your order, as this option is only available with a UK delivery address. If you need any help, just send us a message.
