Thousands of fabrics especially designed for patchwork and quilting by leading manufacturers such as Moda, Rowan, Hoffman, Fabric Freedom, Makower, RJR and Free Spirit. We have a large range of fabric packs to choose from including fat quarters, charm packs, layer cakes, jelly rolls, strip rolls and patchwork palettes. You can buy our fabrics by the metre or purchase one of our pre-cut fabric packs. We have a comprehensive range of fabric designs with specialist areas such as Christmas fabrics, novelty fabrics, patchwork blenders, batiks fabrics, japanese fabrics and floral fabrics. You can find fabrics from leading patchwork fabric designers such as Kaffe Fassett and the Kaffe Fassett Collective, Amy Butler, Heather Bailey, Nancy Halvorsen, Valori Wells, Tanya Whelan, Robyn Pandolph and Tone Finnanger. We also hold possibly the largest range of quilting waddings and battings in the UK. Made from natural fibres such as cotton, wool, silk and bamboo as well as polyester waddings and blends. Our haberdashery and notions sections have hundreds of tools for patchwork and quilters, as well as general sewers, to make their life easier. Rotary cutters, patchwork rulers and rotary cutting mats are one of the main innovations in patchwork and quilting of the last twenty years and we have a superb range. We stock leading manufacturers such as Omni, Olfa and Clover ensuring that if you are looking for patchwork rotary cutting tools you need look no further. Take a closer look at the Kindred Boxed-In Quilt Kit 🌿

Featuring the beautiful Kindred fabric range by Makower UK, this design combines an eclectic mix of florals, geometrics, lettering and charming motifs in a rich, vintage-inspired palette.

The kit includes all the fabric for the quilt top and binding, along with the Half Star Quilts pattern. The finished quilt measures 51½" x 60" and is suitable for beginner quilters. Please note that backing fabric is not included.

Inspired by British ancestry, Kindred brings together medieval illustrative lettering, Celtic knotwork, heraldic imagery and symbolic flora and fauna to create a classic, timeless collection.

The Kindred Block Panel features eight 10" block designs inspired by symbolic British flora, incorporating the rich reds, greens and blues used throughout the collection, with accents of purple and gold.

Lush by Nancy Rink for Andover Fabrics is bursting with rich jewel tones and vibrant botanical prints. Beautiful florals are balanced with lighter tonal coordinates and geometric designs, creating a collection that feels both bold and beautifully balanced.

Pretty, delicate and inspired by the natural world, Flutterby is inspired by Janet Clare’s visit to Plymouth Museum, where a large collection of butterflies collected by entomologist George Carter Bignall is held.

We’ll be stocking the Flutterby collection, which includes several lovely quilt designs.

The three quilts shown below all use larger quantities of background fabric, and these fabrics can go out of stock very quickly if demand is high. If you would like to make one of these quilts, we recommend pre-ordering soon to avoid disappointment.

A £15 deposit will secure your kit, with the remaining balance payable on despatch.

🧵✨ Time to finally cut into those “too pretty to cut” Jelly Rolls!

Next Saturday sees the return of Moda’s National Sew-A-Jelly-Roll Day, which began back in 2017 with the aim of encouraging quilters to open those gorgeous Jelly Rolls and try projects that are relatively quick and easy to complete.

One of our favourite designs is the Jiffy Jelly quilt, which creates a 48" × 60" quilt using just one Jelly Roll. We currently stock four Jelly Rolls that work beautifully with this pattern, and we also have kits available that include the Jelly Roll, binding and Jiffy Jelly pattern.
