From reclaimed scaffold boards to gallery walls.😍

You might not know this, but trees actually nurture and communicate with each other, and photographer Clare Hewitt has turned that idea into a stunning exhibition.

Clare set up her studio inside a circle of twelve oak trees and captured changes through a range of sustainable photography techniques. She created a truly special exhibition to show the results as a response to the growing loneliness and isolation felt by so many people in rural communities across the UK.

We're so proud that The Wood Shack is woven into this story. Our apprentices crafted the frames from reclaimed scaffold boards for Clare's oak gall ink paintings.

'Everything in the Forest is the Forest' is free to visit at MAC Birmingham until 31 August. Go and lose yourself in the forest for a while. 🌳

A few weeks ago, we introduced the “Repurposing Project” in collaboration with Product Design students at Birmingham City University . Now, we are excited to share some of the amazing results.🤩

The students visited The ReUsers, selected donated items, and transformed them into completely new and creative designs. We are incredibly proud of the students’ hard work, innovation, and thoughtful designs. 🌿
