It's the beginning of the end for strong dog types in the UK that are not registered with the UK KC.....
It's not just going to be the American bully XL types that they are going to be coming for mastiff types as well....
The writing has been on the wall for a very long time....
My Catahoula was attacked 2 weeks ago when some irresponsible owner left their back gate open, blame that type of owner....

The Boarhound-will be found useful in hunting the wild pigs of Louisiana, and is derived from a mingling of the Mastiff with the Greyhound, crossed afterwards with largest-sized English Terrier. Our friends who own and breed dogs will at once see the necessity of using these three animals, in order to get the best strain to hunt the wild boar or the less ferocious wild pig. The Greyhound element is required in order to give the dog sufficient speed for overtaking the boar, which is a much swifter animal that is generally supposed, from his unwieldy piggy form. The Mastiff is needed to give it requisite muscular power and dimensions of body, the Terrier is introduced for the sake of obtaining a sensitive nose and a quick spirited action.
The only good breed of Boarhounds know to us is a stain owned by Dr Slack, of New Jersey which have turned out remarkable well. The limbs are not long and exceedingly powerful, and the head possess the square muzzle of the Mastiff, together with the sharp and somewhat pert air of the Terrier. It is a very large animal, measuring thirty inches to the shoulder.....
