Hello everyone!

I have finally found some time and motivation to get my little creative venture back up and running. With a house move, renovation and full-time working until more recently, it's been hard to keep Jen&Hen going.

This week I have actually made a few products which I hope to list in my online shop. Nothing particularly new yet, but it's been nice to make some previous best sellers.

With Etsy fees rising, I have made the decision to create a Folksy page instead....watch this space for updates. And who knows, maybe I will also find some time to create some new designs too! 😉

Customer favourites...are my little lavender bags in Snowdrop and Orchid Petal fabrics.

I am enjoying a bit of evening sewing for an early-week order 😊 A great way to take my mind away from other commitments and stresses. Phew!

Hello to all my lovely followers and a slightly belated Happy New Year!

Due to working full-time and moving house, I haven't had many moments to develop Jen&Hen as I would have liked last year (hence my silence on here), so I am really hoping, and planning, to make more time to design and create new things in 2023.

We have had some lovely winter walks looking at the views from our new home area over the Christmas break and it's made me think a lot about how looking out can help me with looking forward and planning more inspiring ideas! Here's hoping, anyway! I aim to be better at making time for everything I enjoy this year (and not just obsessing with work stuff), and I hope you can too. ☺️

I have a limited number of designs and a limited amount of stock at the moment, so please have a look soon to avoid disappointment.

Each Cherry Stone Pillow is handmade using one of my own cotton linen fabric designs. They have removable covers and can be heated in the microwave or on a radiator. They can also be cooled in the freezer.

Cherry stones are an alternative to wheat - they are sustainably washed and dried and work brilliantly at retaining temperature.

I've been a bit quiet on here because life has taken a slightly different turning, so we've been busying about sorting things!

For now I wanted to share what I've been up to. It's my birthday today...and as it's my day off from work, I decided to have a day doing fun things.

Here is my latest creation - a heat bag filled with washed and dried cherry stones and a hint of lavender 🌿 It has a removable and washable cover and can be heated in a low oven or microwave. As you can see from my mugshot, it fits brilliantly around my neck (I am a long-term sufferer of neck pain) but of course it could be used anywhere! The heat is so helpful for muscle pain.

I have used a sample colour of my Snowdrop fabric in a lovely forest green, because it's that time of year when snowdrops start to surface, and who doesn't love the first signs of Spring!

Wow, it's Christmas Eve! 🎅

Lots of little bags in a selection of my fabrics, and filled with UK grown lavender. The lovely linen ribbon is from and means that these little lovlies can be hung if you want to 😊

Hi everyone!

I've been a bit quiet on here lately...school work, life and work have been my priority for a few weeks. I am actually behind on my interior design studying so I need to figure out a plan to make more progress 🤦🏼‍♀️there just aren't enough hours in the day! But I thought I should show my face and say hi to all my new followers! 👋 (This is me a couple of months ago with Puff the dragon plant!)
