☀️ Hot Weather Travel Advice ☀️

With high temperatures forecast over the coming days, some train operators have introduced temporary timetable changes to help keep services running reliably.

The good news is that there are currently no planned changes affecting services in the North East, including those serving Bishop Auckland.

However, hot weather can sometimes lead to short-notice delays or cancellations across the rail network, so we'd encourage customers to:

🚆 Check before you travel;
💧 Bring plenty of water and stay hydrated;
⏰ Allow a little extra time for your journey where possible;
👋 Speak to our team at Bishop Auckland station if you need any assistance.

We recommend that customers check their train before travelling using National Rail Enquiries at www.nationalrail.co.uk or via their train operator's website or app for the latest travel information.

Our colleagues will continue to monitor the situation closely and we'll keep customers informed of any significant changes affecting local services.

Stay cool, stay safe, and thank you for choosing Bishop Trains! 💙
