The CP Sport National Athletics Championships returns to Coventry on 5–6 September, bringing together athletes from across the UK for a fantastic weekend of competition, achievement and community.

Whether you're an experienced competitor or thinking about taking part for the first time, this event offers a welcoming and supportive environment for athletes with cerebral palsy and associated neurological conditions.

More importantly, you do not need a British Athletics classification to enter. The championships are open to athletes of all abilities, making it a great opportunity to experience competition, meet other athletes and enjoy being part of the CP Sport community.

CP Sport National Athletics Championships 2026

CP Sport are delighted to announce that our National Athletics Championships will return in 2026 and, for the first time, will take place across two exciting days of competition.

The Championships will bring together athletes from across the country and provide competitive opportunities for Wheelchair, Ambulant and Frame Running athletes.

Athletes must be 11 years of age or older on 31 December 2026 to compete. Participants may enter a maximum of three events.
