Well, it’s been a while...

This year I’ve been busy with work in the charity sector and freelancing, which has meant Love From Lucy socials have taken a bit of a back seat. I’ve still been making behind the scenes and continuing to stock online and in a handful of lovely shops 🙏🏼 🥰

I asked on my stories last week whether you’d be interested in a summer sale and the answer was a big fat yes!

So, as a thank you for sticking around while I’ve been quiet, I’m launching an online Summer Sale with 50% off. It’s time to clear some shelves, make room for new summer earrings and hopefully help a few pairs find new homes.

I thought I’d try and launch in time for payday (end of the month ish?!) so aiming for Friday this week and I’ll share all the details very soon.

Hi! It’s been a minute. Thanks to everyone local to me for your messages this weekend, I’m so sorry I didn’t see you at the market due to unexpected changes (on the plus side our Chrismtas tree is now UP!). I will be updating stock levels on the website ASAP so you can order directly and I will be having a FREE POSTAGE week to make up for not seeing you all in person. In the mean time, today I delivered 170 pairs of earrings and pins to at Battersea Power Station 🎉 🎄 so if you’re in that area please go have a look. The shop is beautiful. This is my 5th Christmas selling earrings in Battersea, so lucky! 🤯❤️

Just a big, huge, thank you from me to everyone who bought my earrings this year. To everyone who continues to support me, my repeat customers and lovely stockists. It’s been a year where my freelance life and lots of time with my kids has taken me away from social media and markets and I have concentrated any Love from Lucy time I have on making. I have more stockists than ever and have sent earrings all over the UK. Which still blows my mind a bit. I have made new designs and continued with lots of best sellers. So many things that have happened or been made that I forget to tell you all! Im excited for next year, a little more balance between my freelance work and this business I love and maybe I’ll remember to share more on social media.

🎄 Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas, whatever that looks like for you this year. Sending love to those people missing someone special and here is to a peaceful and joy filled 2025 🎄

Autumn is launching TONIGHT 🍁

I’m updating the website later on today and a few of the limited edition autumn hoops and studs will be on there plus the usuals and before I send most of them off to various shops and then start rolling out that clay again for the next batch. Slow made really means sloooow made over here. All completely@by hand and all by me. Roll the clay, cut and shape the clay, wait to dry, refine and polish, kiln fire to bisque for 24 hours, drill holes, paint with 3 coats of coloured glaze and kiln fire to 1050 degrees, wait to cool, apply the lustre and kiln fire agaaaaain to 700 degrees, wait to cool! Stick on sterling silver backs and assembly the danglies with gold plated findings, then a tiny dot of resin on the backs of the studs to make sure they stay in place, hand stamp and cut the earrings cards, sticker and barcode and hey presto they’re done 😂🤪❤️ Made with love and a lot of time.

I have been happily hauled up at home for the last couple of weeks, creating something new for Autumn, but today we are very much hanging on to the very last of summer! Today I collected my 2024 award for best Women’s Fashion Accessories! What a beautiful day it was, in the sunshine, meeting other small businesses who also won their Category, nice to chat to you .ace .
