Stick & Stitch is my favourite option for darker or textured fabrics. Peel off the backing, stick the design in place, stitch straight through it and then rinse the stabiliser away when you’ve finished. No tracing and no trying to see pencil lines on dark fabric.

One of those tiny sewing things that turns out to be surprisingly useful. A needle minder sits on your fabric and gives you somewhere safe to put your needle when you stop stitching. Much better than putting it down somewhere ‘safe’ and immediately losing it!
