We’re making room for some tiny new residents at Jackson Square! 🐝

We've installed a new bug hotel on Devoils Lane as part of our continued work to support biodiversity and care for our local environment.

The hotel provides shelter for a variety of insects, including solitary bees, butterflies, ladybirds and lacewings, with specially designed spaces for nesting and hibernation.

It’s a small addition with a big role to play in supporting local wildlife. We can’t wait to see who checks in! 🐞

📚 A quick update for library visitors!

Bishop's Stortford Library will be closed to the public from Monday 14 September until Saturday 26 September while a minor refurbishment takes place.

The team looks forward to welcoming you back when the library reopens.
