Bishops Waltham Country Market is part of the Country Markets network of over 450 local markets in England, Wales and the Channel Islands. Country Markets Ltd is a nationwide friendly co-operative enterprise, previously known as WI Markets. It is a non profit-making organisation - after expenses, all proceeds are returned to the producers. It provides a retail outlet for Market members to sell their high quality, home-made produce.

Tomorrow is the first market in October. 10-12 Jubilee Hall.
Locally grown sweet potatoes! Sweet beetroot. Garden flowers. Local farm eggs. Preserves made in home kitchens. Local Honey. An array of excellent home cooking and baking.

Fresh locally grown aubergines! We have some excellent growers bringing fresh, sustainably grown local flowers, fruit and veg to market. Local eggs. Local Honey.
Our cooks have been busy creating a delicious array of home cooked meals and baking. Apple pie. Feta and spinach parcels. Sausage rolls. Gluten free baking. Meals for one.
Home made jams and pickles.

You will get twice the opportunity to visit market this week!
Friday 10-12 and Saturday 10-1 with the bonus of live music from The Soberton Strummers.
We have delicious sweet and savoury home baking. Bread pudding, chocolate cake, date and walnut cake, tea cakes, luxury fruit cake, butter shortbread, pavlova, gluten free cakes and more. Quiches, steak pasties, chorizo spiked sausage rolls, chicken pies, feta and spinach parcels, cheesy bread and gluten free savouries.
Veg harvest keeps on giving! Beetroot, carrots, potatoes, french beans, runner beans, aubergines, tomatoes, courgettes and cucumbers.
Fresh picked plums, seedless grapes, fresh apples.
Eggs from local chickens.
Honey from local beekeepers.
Preserves made in home kitchens in small batches.
Crafts include jewellery, glass craft, clay craft, felting, woodcraft, photography, painting, crochet, hand sewn up cycled items, cards for any occasion, soap craft and more.
The cafe will be open and welcoming.

Doors open at 10am and popular items sell out fast.

Do you need a unique gift for that special friend who has everything?
Head to the market 10-12 at Jubilee Hall tomorrow morning Friday 28th August.
Choose one of the beautiful hand crafted items, add something tasty and home baked, grab a hand made card, perhaps a bunch of fresh garden flowers and you will have the perfect (local, sustainable, hand made) solution…
While you are there you can stock up with some fresh local veg and fruit, a few meals for easy lunches in the week, some proper preserves, local eggs, fresh baked bread, local honey and a few sweet treats for yourself (limoncello cookies are slightly addictive - you have been warned).
There are gluten free and vegan options.
Spot a friend and sit down for a chat with a cuppa.
