There’s something very special about bringing a family instrument back to life.

Alan recently restored a vintage banjo ukulele belonging to our customer Sarah. It had been given to her as a child and had sadly been sitting unplayed for many years. After careful restoration, it’s now back in beautiful playable condition and ready to be enjoyed again — this time by her grandchildren.

Moments like this are exactly why we love the work we do.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Neil Sedaka.

A true legend of the music industry and one of the great songwriters of his generation. His melodies timeless, his lyrics unforgettable, and his voice instantly recognisable.

From being small children, we remember listening to his songs — and they have stayed with us ever since. That says everything about the power of great music. It lives on.

From Oh! Carol to Breaking Up Is Hard to Do, his music became part of people’s lives, their memories, their stories.

The industry has lost a giant, but his songs will continue to play on — and that is the mark of a true legend.
