🎉 BLACKPOOL, WE'VE MADE THE FINAL FOUR! 🎉

It's official! Blackpool has been shortlisted as one of just FOUR places in the running to become UK City of Culture 2029! 🙌

We're up against Sheffield, Wrexham and Milton Keynes for the prestigious title, which could bring £10 million towards a year-long celebration of arts, culture, creativity and entertainment, creating exciting new opportunities for our town and its people.

Blackpool is known around the world for its iconic attractions and entertainment, but there's a lot more to our town's cultural story.

From talented local artists and creatives to the community groups and organisations making incredible things happen every day, this is our chance to shine a spotlight on their work, celebrate the talent we have right here and show the country a side of Blackpool they might not have seen before! ✨

Almost 30,000 people have already backed our bid, and now we're one step closer! Judges will be visiting the final four places before a winner is announced this winter, and we want to show them exactly what makes Blackpool so special.

This is our town. Our culture. Our moment to shine. Let's get behind Blackpool and show everyone what we're made of! 🧡
