Just another day on the shop floor...⚙️⚠️

Before they become impact sockets, this is what they look like.

Fresh off the machines and being stacked by hand, ready to head off for heat treatment and blackening...🔥

It's not the glamorous side of manufacturing, but it's all part of the process. Every socket passes through multiple stages before it's ready for the tool box...🧰

Machine it.
Stack it.
Heat treat it.
Blacken it.
Inspect it.
Pack it.

Then it's ready to get put to work.

People often see the finished product and never realise how much handling and graft goes into getting it there.

Problem with your nuts? Solved 🔧😂

120mm on a 3/4 drive are usually double the length but our customer wanted to get into a tighter gap and still be able to put enough torque through…so we made them this 🔥💯

Customer needed an extended socket but couldn't find anything that would work for the application... ⁉️

They sent us the details, we worked through the measurements and manufactured one to suit their requirements... 📏

Nothing fancy, just a case of understanding what was needed and making the right tool for the job.

The part didn’t exist…So we made it…🔧

When Hesketh Press approached us with a problem, production had come to a halt…❌

A critical handle on one of their printing machines had snapped and sourcing a replacement simply wasn’t an option…🤷🏻

Rather than replacing an entire assembly or investing in costly downtime, our engineering team reverse engineered the original component and manufactured a brand-new replacement to exact specification…✍🏽

✅ Problem identified
✅ Component manufactured
✅ Machine back in operation

What could have resulted in significant disruption and expense became a straightforward engineering solution.

It’s a perfect example of what Deltec does every day…💯
