🌟🌟 IT'S SECOND HAND SEPTEMBER! 🌟🌟 When did you last visit your local Weldmar Hospicecare shop to see the incredible range of quality fashion and accessories on offer?

Throughout this month, look out the fabulous outfits that we'll be sharing, showing just what you can find in our shops, outlets and superstores. All of the clothes have been chosen by the members of our team who are the 'stars' of our Second Hand September campaign.

They are: Ali Caldwell, Head of Weldmar's Specialist Hospice at Home, Weldmar Counsellor Zoe Ryan, Assistant Practitioner Melanie Cairnduff, and volunteer Terry Gillingham.

You may have seen that we've recently launched a series of new fundraising challenges, including a unique nighttime hike to the top of Snowdon and a once-in-a-lifetime overseas challenge to Cambodia.

Wow!😍One for the handbag fans...

We get some incredibly generous donations, and we're so thankful! This evening on our eBay shop, we have a one-of-a-kind, Pom Pom London burgundy leather crossbody bag.

It's a sample bag that never made it to production, which makes it completely unique.

You'll be able to find this listing on our eBay shop from tonight, Tuesday 4th August 2026, at 7pm.

It's the first of two bags donated, and the other will go live on Thursday at 7pm.

Who’s going to Camp Bestival? 🙌

Some of the Weldmar Retail Team and an amazing bunch of volunteers are running a stall there this weekend.

X marks the spot on the map, and they’ve got all kinds of treasures! From jazzy pre-loved outfits to festival essentials like wellies and sparkly cowboy hats.

Last year we even had a visit from Josie Gibson, who is just as lovely as she is on the telly. She probably won’t be needing that sunflower brolly this year though…

We’re also still open of course, so if you’re looking for last minute outfits, bags, shoes, or things to keep the kids amused before you head off for some summer fun, pop in and see us. And don’t forget your sun cream! ☀️

Much excitement here at our Blandford charity shop today, as the King and Queen visit the town! King Charles III is the patron of Weldmar Hospicecare.

We've got the union flags flying, and a red, white and blue themed window display to celebrate!

Deputy CEO of Weldmar, Matt, and Selina - who leads the North Dorset hub of our Specialist Hospice at Home service - are at the Corn Exchange with a special friend! A sculpture that represents hospice care often being 'the elephant in the room', and includes words that represent the unique nature of the care we provide.
