Why we created LOKI MAGNI L-Track Systems
Sometimes the best products come from seeing a problem that shouldn't exist.
The idea behind LOKI MAGNI L-Track Systems came from a simple observation: why are we still using plated and galvanised land-vehicle tie-down components in marine environments, where corrosion can become a serious problem?
Traditional tie-down fittings, designed for land vehicles, can corrode and seize into aluminium L-Track systems. Not ideal when you’re working around saltwater, expensive equipment and payloads that need to be secured properly.
And the need is growing.
Today’s boats and autonomous craft are carrying increasingly valuable payloads:

That’s where LOKI MAGNI comes in.
We saw an opportunity to develop a dedicated marine-focused L-Track fastening solution, designed around the realities of marine construction and operation.
The result is the LOKI MAGNI L-Track System, featuring two complementary fastening solutions:
🔩 LOKI MAGNI L-Track Bolt Down
A compact, high-strength fastening point providing a secure threaded interface within an L-Track system.
Its unique design allows boat builders and assemblers to select the M8 thread length required during final construction, helping provide flexibility when integrating the system into a vessel.
🔗 LOKI MAGNI D-Loop
A practical, easily removable tie-down solution that provides a secure attachment point for straps and restraint systems.
The ability to quickly remove and reposition the D-Loop means the L-Track can be adapted as payloads, equipment and operational requirements change — without compromising the flexibility of the system.
Together, the MAGNI D-Loop and L-Track Bolt Down provide boat builders, operators and equipment integrators with more options for securing valuable payloads.
From recreational boats to commercial vessels and autonomous craft, MAGNI is about making payload restraint more practical, adaptable and fit for purpose.
We believe there is a real gap in the market for a dedicated marine L-Track solution.
