Was an end of an era when the shop door closed to customers last Saturday but it’s finally being handed back to the landlord this morning … so many mixed emotions today .. going out into the unknown and starting new adventures.. how I’m gonna miss not working there and not working with Becky Owen and Teresa after all these years .. but here’s to new beginnings for us all … we’ve made great memories and no doubt be missed for our fantastic window displays .. I’ll certainly miss doing those to .. I just hope whoever takes the shop on its with something blandford needs and not something we don’t .

Thank you so so much to all of our customers for the love and support over these last few weeks! ♥️ without you our buisness wouldn’t have lasted all these years!

I just wanted to thank the wonderful people that have been part of the reason our little family business had been so successful, Owen Read you are one in a million, who has gone above and beyond for customers over the years! You have been a very special asset to us! ♥️ Teresa Turpin for being our Saturday lady over the years, your support and hard work! You are very special to us! ♥️

To my mum & dad Ros Burns Darren Burns thank you for giving me the opportunity to take the business on and do the absolute best I could with it! your love and support has been amazing! ♥️

We have achieved so many amazing things over the years and I know for sure we will always be remembered for our window displays! I am going to miss doing them for sure! ♥️ whether it be for remembrance, armed forces day, euros or Christmas we put our all into them and smashed it!

We don’t know what the future holds for us as individuals but one thing I know for sure is we are going to miss this place a lot! I’m going to miss working with these guys and seeing our little shop cat visitor daily! (Can’t say too much about her otherwise I really will cry! 🤣) We have been known as the v**e shop with a cat for a good few years now, starting with marmite then phalange and now trinity! All beautiful female black cats 🐈‍⬛

One thing for sure is it has been a blast!

To our lovely customers,

It breaks our heart to give you this news but unfortunately we are closing our doors on Saturday 3rd August. This has been the hardest decision we have had to make but feel it’s the only one we have now! Due to rising costs and the times at the moment it is no longer sustainable to keep going.

I know I took over from my parents last year, but this has been a small independent family run business for over 15 years. I cannot put into words how grateful we are for your support and custom! We will never forget it!

Going forward if you have loyalty points over the 500 mark we advise you come in and use them as these cannot be exchanged for cash value!

As many of our customers know the last few weeks we have been using a pre order system and ordering in what customers want specifically, this will continue this week to ensure you get what you need! As of next week we will be selling what we have in store only and all pre orders will need to be collected by Wednesday 31st July (unless arranged with us personally) otherwise they will go on general sale to be sold before we close.

Thank you again for your support, it means more than you will ever know!
