Machine embroidery specialist / sewist / crocheter
New designs have been to Our Sea life Towels:-
https://www.coraliescraftsgifts.com/collections/sealife-designs I served in the army for 13.5 years & was medically discharged from the Army in May 2013 for mental health reasons. In September 2013, I decided to start selling my handmade items as a business. To start off with this was mainly knitted & crocheted items with a few embroidered items. Over the years this has changed & now my business is mainly machine embroidered gifts, specialising in personalised bespoke towels. I’ve always enjoyed making things & this is mainly due to my beloved Auntie, Enid Threadgould. I used to spend my summer holidays as a child with her up in Beeston, Leeds, where she taught me to knit. We would make dishcloths and egg cosies, plus other items too. At school I learnt to embroider, create models out of clay, learnt to sew & learnt how to crochet and I was hooked. Over the years, I kept on crocheting blankets & baby blankets for friends. Plus I also learnt how to make fancy dress costumes. I now produce embroidered products that can be personalised to your individual needs, ideal for anything from your business, to gifts for your loved ones. Since starting my business in September 2013, I’m really proud of where I am now. I have new focus as I now move to a new shop premises. I love my business, I love bringing joy to those who love my gifts & to those that love what I do. I’m one woman, who loves to make. My business is what keeps my mental health in check. When people fall in love with my products, the boost it gives me is huge. It’s not just my business, but my therapy & a lifestyle necessity. So a huge thanks to my family, my friends, my lovely followers & my most amazing customers. Coralie

Hello everyone, it’s me Coralie from Dorset.
Just wanted to say Welcome, to all my new followers & thank you to everyone who already follows me.

I absolutely appreciate everyone that is here following my journey and being wonderful customers.

Be it ordering gifts from me to make or booking in to one of my workshops.

I’m absolutely loving teaching & had my first home education student last week, which was an absolute blast & such a wonderful morning.

Creating products and workshops is something that I absolutely love doing.

However, I find teaching workshops is so rewarding, that I’ll be developing this side of the business more.

I’m looking at also developing kits and writing up my patterns to sell.

Remember….

🧶Being creative is not just good for your soul, it’s good for your mental health 🧶

So again huge thanks to everyone that is here.

Lots of creative love
Coralie

Wow, what an awesome morning at The Hub on the Heath 🤩
Today I was teaching my first ever Level 1 Beginners Knitting Workshop.
All my students did so so well.
After being really nervous before I started teaching this workshop. It went so well.
All the repeat steps and getting so far & then starting again really paid off for all my students.
Huge thanks goes to my students who booked and entrusting me to start them on their knitting journey.

I’m absolute buzzing and so happy with all my students achievements.

I’m so so excited about this new event I’m doing.

I’m holding my 1st ever…….

Crochet & Create Social Sunday on 18th October 2026
At the wonderful venue The Hub on the Heath

An all day event from 10am - 4pm to relax and be creative with lots of other like minded creative people.

Bring your crochet or knitting project with you, this day is not classed as a workshop, but if you need help, I’ll be there to help you.

If you don’t have a project, then bring something else with you to do, be it cross stitch, hand embroidery, doodling, drawing or colouring in.

Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be revealing more information of what’s happening on the day.

I’ve currently sent out invites to students I have taught, if there places still available at the beginning of October, I’ll open it up to who is on my waiting list.

This morning was an amazing workshop.
Had a lovely Home Education student come in with her mum this morning.

The large jar we worked on together with a little help from me.
The second jar she did all on her own.

So proud of her.
She’s looking forward to growing her baby peanut cactus, we planted & already wants to come back to do another session.

It was such a lovely morning with great achievements.

I’m looking forward to now offering this wonderful decoupage workshop, where we decorate used glass jars, with scrap fabrics.

The wholesome feeling of reducing glass jars going to waste and giving them a new lease of life & becoming a home for a cactus to live and grow in, whilst reducing fabric scraps going to waste and also giving them a new lease of life to a glass jar.

Peanut cactus are so easy to look after and are ok with either being watered lightly either once a week, once a fortnight or even once a month.
