Did you know it's International Polar Bear Day?

International Polar Bear Day was first introduced in 2011 and it has been celebrated every year since. Its purpose is to raise awareness of the issues facing polar bears and the ways in which we can reduce our carbon footprint.

Polar Bear fun fact:
Male polar bears can weigh as much as TEN men and weigh up to 800kg, twice the size of females. Polar bears can also grow up to 3 metres long, making them the largest bear species and the largest land carnivore in the world.

National Toast Day pays homage to a food that is oft-ignored but has an oh-so-important role to play when it comes to breakfast, brunch, or even snacking purposes.

Here's a fun fact for you....
Toast originated in Ancient Egypt 5000 years ago when it was discovered that scorching the bread would preserve it for longer and make stale bread more palatable! Woah...!

Here's wor Steven!
Steven is the happy-go-lucky guy behind the wrapping and careful packing of all your orders. He takes great pride in his work and is always ready to lend a helping hand to the rest of the team when needed. He keeps us well supplied with sweets and treats in the kitchen and will always run for the door to hold it open for you if you're passing with your hands full. Such a gent :)
