The simplest dish can be cooked on the Cobb, but the Cobb can also liberate the chef in you, to cook the most elaborate dishes, anywhere anytime. The innovative concept behind Cobb:
The design of the Cobb portable cooker originated with safety in mind. An innovation straight out of Africa, the Cobb was initially designed as a cooking system for people in rural areas who had no access to electricity. The Cobb allowed for safe cooking with minimal risk of dangerous fires. The first prototype of the Cobb cooker was a ceramic sphere-shape device that cooked well, but was heavy and cumbersome. The initial fuel source for the Cobb was dry corn cobs, abundant in rural Africa, hence the grill's name. The Cobb cooker has been refined over and over and the result is a small, eco-friendly, portable and incredibly efficient cooker, allowing you to cook anything, anywhere, anytime.

Public picnic bench etiquette: officially upgraded ✨

Forget defending a packet of crisps from the seagulls - we’re out here chopping fresh chives and serving up hot, buttery jacket potatoes topped with flaky salmon right by the sea.

(And before anyone panics in the comments - yes, the wooden table is completely fine. The base stays cold, so absolutely no park furniture was harmed in the making of this meal. 😉)

We try not to show off, BUT after The Independent named us the ‘Best portable BBQ overall’ earlier this year, The Telegraph stepped in last month to crown the COBB the best BBQ for travel in 2026. 🤩 Whoa!

They ran it through the ultimate British stress test - cooking 🌭sausages 🌭 - praising the fact that it cooks them evenly instead of just cremating the outside.

For anyone unfamiliar with the setup, here is why they completely ruin the appeal of standard charcoal:

The Bank Holiday weekend starts NOW, meaning the clouds have assembled like they’re getting paid overtime 🌧️

We know the lawns need it, but nature scheduling a downpour for a three-day weekend is a national tradition at this point. 🫠

Luckily, the COBB BBQ is built for standard British weather. 🔥

Because the base stays completely cold, you can literally pick the whole operation up and carry it under a gazebo the second the heavens open. 🙌

Keep your fuel dry, use the slightly longer cooking time as an excuse to open another tin, and for the love of God, don’t take a lit BBQ inside your house or tent. 🚫
