A little Sunday reflection 💛
What started as a modest selection of fresh fruit and vegetables in the corner of our shop has become an important part of what we do. Every week, we’re proud to prepare and deliver fresh fruit and veg boxes to local customers, & serve you in our shop, helping make healthy affordable produce accessible within our community.
Yes our section is small but what we do is aim to provide the freshest, local produce every day (we don’t always get it right but no one’s perfect!)
You guys are great, it’s not just about the custom, it’s about the interactions, the stories, the asking about how the recipe you made turned out, it’s seeing the kids come into the shop with their parents from being newborns to then starting big school & beyond, it’s checking your fine & if you’re struggling what can we do to help, looking out for each other, having a collective moan about the weather, the list goes on.
Being a convenience store means more than simply providing everyday essentials. It’s about supporting our neighbours, serving familiar faces, and playing our part in strengthening the local community. We are incredibly grateful for the support our customers continue to show us week after week.
Whether you’re popping in for a few essentials, collecting a fruit and veg box, or simply stopping by for a chat, thank you for choosing to shop local and support a small independent business.
