🍓 Independent businesses are the heart of our towns & every closure is a reminder of how important it is to support them wherever we can, loosing Chris & his team at The Vine in Wadebridge is a big loss to the community.
🍅 I have been lucky enough to be one of Chris’s weekly customers for years, I then purchased his Bodmin Shop, which I also had to close last year due to huge rental increases, but I was then lucky enough to be able to relocate to our other business in Bodmin & carry on, enabling me to still be able to ask Chris for tips if needed, sharing suppliers and us having Jon, a valued member of Chris’s team & my absolute irreplaceable member of staff work alongside both of us.
Chris, I’d like to wish you all the best for what comes next, your heart & soul has been poured into this business for years and I know how hard it is to close the doors ✨

🫛 We are also passionate about working with local growers of all kinds — from allotment holders and community gardeners to people growing a few herbs, vegetables or salad leaves in their back garden. There’s something really special about locally grown produce: it’s fresh, seasonal, full of care, and rooted in the community. I love supporting these small-scale growers and celebrating the amazing food that can be produced right on our doorstep. Please get in touch if you have any super produce we can use 😊
