As a family-run business, we felt it was important to speak to you directly following the recent recall of a specific batch of our Honeycomb Blast Choc Bar.

First and foremost, we are very sorry for the concern and disappointment this situation has caused. When we became aware that a trace of undeclared milk had been identified in a specific batch of this product, our immediate priority was to remove the affected batch from sale and communicate the recall as quickly as possible. We know many of our customers place their trust in us when choosing products for themselves and their families, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

We would like to reassure customers that this issue is limited to a single batch of Honeycomb Blast Choc Bar.

Our Free From products are made in a dedicated production site where dairy is not handled. Testing and investigation have identified a single issue within the supply chain relating to this specific batch of the Honeycomb Blast product. No issues have been identified in any other batches of this product or in any other Buttermilk product.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to contact us. We are listening, we understand why people are concerned, and we are taking every comment and enquiry seriously.

⚠️**Buttermilk product recall, please read**⚠️

As part of our routine testing procedures, we have identified in our supply chain a specific batch of our Honeycomb Blast Choc Bar which has tested positive for traces of MILK (casein) which is not mentioned on the label.

As a result, we are recalling Honeycomb Blast Choc Bars with the batch code: BM26105 and best before date: 15.06.2027.

No other products from Buttermilk or batches of Honeycomb Blast Choc Bar are impacted by this issue. If you have recently purchased the product with batch number BM26105, please do not eat it and return it to the store you purchased it from for a full refund. Is it gluten‑free and dairy‑free?
All of our chocolate is gluten‑free, and the Coconut Bar, Honeycomb Blast Bar, Peanut Nougat Bar and Caramel Nougat Bar are dairy-free.
