A good friend of mine gave me all the yarn for this shawl, and I thought that it all goes very well together, and I can also gift it, after I knitted it. It's great to receive a gift, and I love spreading the feeling around me. 🎁 💝

I decided to finish all my cross stitch projects with a border stitch to stop the fabric from fraying, and then to store them in a display folder, so I can pick and reuse them in frames, according to the season.

Here it is, and I thought that I am done with it... But not! The little heart shaped charm doesn't fit the zip. So I hang it on the key chain string, and I will have to make a custom, handmade charm for the zip.

My new little zip pouch has a little handle that can be used to carry it around or to hang it; it has a deep pocket - divider; and obviously a little hoop to hang a fob or a key. Love it! It's a gift for the most special mama. :)

I have a few cross stitch kits with no organiser for the embroidery floss. So I decided to get creative instead of buying something that will just stay in the cupboard after I've finished the project. This way everything is organised and nice, and I can come back and use any colour, if needed for another project, but I haven't spent a penny.

I used just a nice hard cardboard card from my daughter's new suitcase and my heart shaped puncher.

I started a new project to work on during my lunch breaks... It's a little zipper pouch, but this one, as it is handmade, is going to have extras. :) I will share more when I can show.
