Restoring a rare 1895 Singer Model 28k sewing machine... rare because it is a treadle version, not the more usual portable version... just started sanding away old paint and varnish on the table top and am down to the mahogany veneer underneath... going to look fantastic when it's finished...

Been working today on the pattern templates for a new workshop apron... New youtube video of me making the templates in due course. Tomorrow start filming the main apron build video... Happy days... :)

Latest project nearing completion... steam punk themed workshop clock... made from many hundreds of pieces of laser cut veneer... epoxy float coat curing as we speak... about 70hrs in this project so far... glue-up, clamping and epoxy pour the most stressful thing I've done to date... should be finished and on the wall next weekend.

You have got to love a good jig... doesn't have to be complicated or overly complex... simple is just as good and.often achieves the best results... Am making the carcass.sides for.my huge 210 draw apothecary cabinet style small parts cabinet... need three of these pairs all exactly the same...

Finally... after all the work remodelling the workshop... am back to actually "making stuff"... two boards in glue up... one long grain, one end grain... Happy days... 😊

Probably over done it with this addition to the workbench bit... have added a 1.2m roll of brown paper for when I'm doing glue ups... shortly going to finish the table top and this will help keep things nice and clean...
