Good morning, well now it’s October we feel it’s only right to talk Christmas trees 🎄

Today the boys are out in the fields hand selecting our trees for this festive season. Hand picking Christmas trees is only available to a select few in the country and we are so grateful to our partners Infinity for letting us have this freedom in the fields.

By hand selecting, we control the quality of every tree which comes onto the site but also when the trees are cut.

Our trees are still in the ground growing whilst the majority are cut well in advance, they don’t come any fresher!!

Lastly let’s talk Lasiocarpa😍

We’ve been given exclusive access to this plantation and after introducing them to our range last year we are being flooded with requests for them this year too.

Heres some pics live from the field’s this morning of the Lasios😍

Good morning, as the temperature starts to normalise the Autumn planting season is upon us. We have just taken delivery of some stunning UK grown winter/spring flowering Erica with 14 varieties to choose from.

Winter/spring-flowering Erica are hardy evergreen heathers that provide colour during the colder months, typically flowering from winter through early spring. They have fine, needle-like foliage and produce masses of small, bell-shaped flowers in shades of white, pink, mauve, or purple. They are low-growing, compact plants that thrive in sunny, well-drained, acidic soils and are excellent for rockeries, borders, containers, and wildlife-friendly gardens.

We are open till 5pm and look forward to seeing you.

Good Morning

Back in stock

Loropetalum, commonly known as Chinese fringe flower or the Ever red chinese withch hazel, is an attractive evergreen or semi-evergreen ornamental shrub belonging to the witch-hazel family. It is valued for its graceful, spreading growth habit, colourful foliage and distinctive, delicate flowers. The leaves are oval-shaped and may be green, bronze, burgundy or deep purple, depending on the variety. In late winter and spring, the shrub produces clusters of narrow, ribbon-like flowers in shades of pink, red or white, giving it a distinctive fringed appearance.

Loropetalum grows best in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. It is relatively low-maintenance and can be grown as a specimen shrub, informal hedge, border plant or container plant. Purple-leaved varieties are particularly popular because their dark foliage provides year-round colour and creates an attractive contrast with the bright flowers. With its combination of colourful leaves, unusual flowers and elegant form, Loropetalum is a versatile and highly decorative garden shrub.
