It'll soon be Lancashire Day - November 27th. I'm offering signed copies of my book 'Lancastrians - mills, mines and minarets ' for £20 post free until December 1st. It's a full length history of 'historic Lancashire ' in other words including so-called Greater Manchester, Liverpool, and Barrow/Ulverston (Lancashire north of the Sands'. The BBB will be at 109 Harpers Lane this Sunday for the garden party in aid of Harpers Lane Community Garden. Light refreshments available, garden railway operating a full timetable. Children's activities inc. treasure hunt. From 2.00 to 4.00. admission £5, accompanied children free. Donations of books and CDs for sales stall welcome!
