I keep seeing posts like this one on my feed. The companies advertising delete comments and word their replies with deliberate vagueness to make people think what they're offering is a legitimate pathway to practicing

Let me clear it up- being an Art Therapist takes years of study, at a HCPC approved course provider

Any company telling you you can qualify in a week, with no personal therapy of your own, no in person classes, no supervision and no placement is scamming you

Be cautious out there; and remember- if you want to train as a therapist (of any kind), its better do it slowly, safely and ethically

Farnworth, it has been an absolute joy to bring families and early years children together through creative, collaborative play 💕

Over the past 6 months, these sessions have created space for children to explore freely, make their own choices, express themselves authentically and celebrate their world and the world around them alongside their community 💕

This collective artwork beautifully reflects that spirit- full of colour, curiosity and unwavering imagination. Using natural materials, recycled treasures and handmade marks, each contribution tells a story of connection, creativity and belonging💕

Watching families create side by side, share ideas and celebrate each child’s unique voice has been such a powerful reminder of how play and creativity can truly bring communities together 💕
