It was so long ago I barely even remember picking this lot up 😅 I believe some were from my locals near work as part of some bundle deals. Kingdom of Heaven being the standout of the lot with £5 trade in at the time.

So it was a few weeks back now but I had a very successful trip to the charity shops in Kirkham with the highlights being the DS games and Fallout 3 for £1.50 each, and a very rare Kane Roberts album for just £2 😎

I decided to have a bit of a charity shop game hunt in Lytham a day later, where I did find some games but they were all priced pretty much the same as CeX or above so didn’t pick anything up.

What I do regret though is not picking up the Paul McCartney & Wings vinyl albums at a bargain price of £1.75 each. It was funny though as I went back at the end of the day and the guy had suddenly added “rare vinyl” stickers and added £10 to every price 😅

A few weeks ago I managed to pick up the second Tomb Raider deluxe edition on the Nintendo Switch from CeX , and as always when I’m heading to Bolton I always check out The British Heart Foundation shop next door as they usually have some pretty nice stuff, and this time it helped me towards my CEX purchase 😎

I also found a Switch game in my local charity shop but unfortunately it was missing the game cart. The lady was just going to throw it out so I offered a small donation for the case and hopefully down the line I’ll complete it 👍🏻

Only around a week had passed since my Donkey Kong Country CeX pickup, and I found another great vintage find, and another one of my favourite DK games!

Initially I grabbed some other items with my credit and didn’t really want to be spending £30 cash on anything, but then I found a couple of DVDs in a charity shop down the road and I just HAD to go back and grab it. And to my surprise, it was CIB! The manual was there - it was just labelled as having “no manual” just because it was a little tatty! It even had the original poster inside and precautions sheet. What a find!!

I also checked out Gremlins Games on the market and picked up the rare Arrow Video window box edition of Dario Argento’s Inferno, complete with sealed postcards and poster!

All in all, a great day in Leigh; and my first ever visit too!

Some nice grabs from Bolton, Chorley and my local charity shop recently! Picked up the Control steelbook for standard price from CeX using my vouchers, and found the Sonic the Hedgehog figures for just £3 each at The Entertainer Toys . The Mariokart remote control car was £4.50 from my local and works perfectly!

So this one was a long time coming! I think I’ve been building this box for almost a year with a guy I regularly deal with on the Facebook toy groups. I leave it so long that half of the stuff I forget I’ve even bought 🫣😅
Just a shame that the Sonic candy container arrived damaged! 😓

I’m way behind with pickups 😅 These were from both Kirkham, Bolton and Warrington a few weeks back. The Prom Night 4 movie collection I’ve literally never seen before but saw it in Bolton’s CeX the week before in their box ready to put out for sale and knew I’d be coming back for it once I had a few more vouchers in my pocket despite it being a pricey one.

The DVDs were 3 for £2 from a Trinity Hospice in Kirkham. The Collector was sealed but unfortunately the disc was loose inside so had to open it up and sort that out 🫣😅

I found myself in Warrington the other week and found one of my BEST CeX finds in a long time - Donkey Kong Country boxed AND complete for the unboxed price of £18, just because it was missing the inlay tray!

Now there was a pretty beefy sticker on the cover… but after a good go with the hairdryer it came off perfectly!

I also found some nice bits in Kirkham the day before including the DS games for £1.50 each, and the Tomorrow People box set for £4.99 which I ended up trading in towards DK 😎
