A few people have said this week they didn't know where the shop had moved to. We are now opposite Trinity church between the dry cleaners and tea for two cafe.
Story time.... 🙈
Moving out the indoor market after 10 years in there was a scary time for us. After being given notice by the landlord and then changing his mind a few weeks later we knew it was time to go. The opportunity to share a shop with one of the other traders came up and we decided to go for it.
Hand on heart I struggled with the move. We rebranded as Daroma Bath and Body, I had to set up a new workspace at home and while Gav went into the shop I stayed at home to "make stock" . In reality I wasn't leaving the house for weeks on end, wasnt getting dressed and avoided doing anything at all. I wanted to give up.
BUT!!
I didnt!
Its a slow process but im getting there.
Im adding more gift items and bringing back things like the incense, dreamcatchers and jewellery.
We know its a strange combination of a coin dealer and a wax melt shop under one roof 🤣 But it works for both of us and long may it continue!
