Shop has now permanently closed.
A big thank you to all the customers who supported the store over the years.
Reasons for closure include very poor footfall and sadly not enough regular visits from collectors of comics over the last 12 months. Cost of living crisis also impacted on collectors spending far less when visiting our store making it much harder to cover shop rent.
The good news is that Extraterrestrial will be attending Bolton Sci Fi Comic and Toy Fair later in the month on Sunday 24th March at the Georgian House Hotel. Fair opens to the public from 11am to 4pm.
Free car parking.

Our store will be open during December on the lead up to Christmas...
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
12 noon to 4pm.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday we will only be open if not occupied with attending Christmas fairs and shows.
We advise messaging to avoid disappointment in advance, to see if our store is open on days you intend to visit.

Open today at our store 11am to 4 pm but also will be at Ashton Under Lyne Halloween Sci Fi Comic and Toy Fair tomorrow 11am to 4pm. Very busy weekend for Extraterrestrial Comics and Collectables.

Our newly decorated store is now reopen following refurbishment!! Lots of new stock including graphic novels and rare vintage Marvel and DC comic books. And now also in stock board games and funko pops! Open every Thursday and Friday 11am to 4pm and Saturdays 11am to 3pm on event days otherwise 11am to 4pm.

Due to landlord complications the store is reopen until we know otherwise. So our opening days and times are as follows:

Thursday and Friday 11am to 4pm.
Saturday 11am to 3pm.

After going through some wonderful times as well as bad ones we are sad to announce that the store will be closing its doors this year for the final time. We will remain open until the end of September on Thursday to Saturday. Why are we closing? Well lots of small retail shops are struggling and closing after experiencing the pandemic and now having to see no improvement in sales due to the cost of living. On top of which Bolton is one of the most poorest and neglected towns in the North West which just makes it impossible to sell anything that isn't deemed as essential. Other towns are struggling to and high street shop closures are happening everywhere. So with the lack of custom we are forced to close and come to this decision. To all our customers who have supported us over the years we wish to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and thanks. Our page will remain open for you to message us, as we will be, after the shop closure, committing ourselves to home visits for those of you who still want to mooch and browse our lovely comic stock in person. Home visits will be available in Southport and Bolton for those interested in pursuing this. Otherwise you can still find us at the Sci Fi Comic and Toy Fairs in Bolton, St Helens, Southport, and Preston and these events will be advertised on our page and events section. Alternatively you can view them on the events website main home page at www.mseevents.co.uk.

We will be closing earlier this Saturday as we are getting ready to attend Widnes Sci Fi Comic and Toy Fair on Sunday so shop will be open from 11am to 2pm.
