Here at Craig Stevens Antiques I carry a diverse mix of items of different styles and eras. I like to stock items which I would be happy to live with in my own home, carrying an eclectic mix which ranges from traditional Victorian and Georgian antiques to 1960’s art glass. My passion for antiques and decorative art goes way back to the 1970’s when I first began visiting antiques fairs with my Aunt

and Uncle, Audrey and Brian Craig of 'Craig's Antiques', which was based in Tottington near Bury, Lancashire. That tradition continues today with my nine year old daughter Charlotte regularly accompanying me on buying trips at the weekends. And no family holiday would be complete without a trip to the local antiques hot spots. I began in the antiques trade myself back in 1985, trading with customers throughout the UK and internationally. Nice quality silver and cut glass preserve or mustard pot by well known silversmith John Emes, who had a reputation for elegant design and fine finish. Made in London during the reign of George III, this piece is clearly marked on the banding and inside the lid. London 1806.
The glass is cut in diamond and panelled pattern with starburst to footed base.
This item comes with a hallmarked silver mustard spoon. The spoon is not necessarily original to the piece but is contemporary with the period, being hallmarked for London 1804 and By Joseph Barnard.
The overall height is 12 CM.
