We're flowering a beautiful wedding this weekend with stunning, vibrant flowers. It's a little too early to show you a sneak peak, so for now here's a throwback to another beautiful wedding bouquet we created quite a few years ago 💜

*A quick shop update*

Just to let you all know that I (Maxine) am now officially on maternity leave, baby is due in 3½ weeks! But I wanted to reassure you all that the team at the shop (Jo , our new shop manager, plus Karen (in the picture) and Marcia who you all know) will be keeping things running as usual. There won't be any changes with opening hours, ordering, stock etc, so please do continue to support our little flower shop whilst I'm not there 🙏🏻 I will still be popping in from time to time throughout the year so hopefully I'll see some of you then too 💜

Years ago when I first trained as a florist, each wedding season would have a dominant colour scheme that over half of all couples that year would choose. These days, with all the inspiration on social media and online, we rarely do the same colour scheme more than a couple of times a year. It's so lovely to see our brides choosing what they really love and the colours that reflect their own personalities 💜

Introducing our lovely new shop manager, Jo 💜

As I start to take a step back from the shop for my maternity leave, Jo will be taking over the day to day running of Flowersmiths. Some of you may have already met her in the shop, but if not please do come by to say hello and make her feel very welcome 💜

I will still be in the shop part time for the next few weeks, and after that I'll be popping by with baby to keep up with all the flowery happenings! A huge thank you to everyone for all your kind words and beautiful cards and gifts that you've already given to me, it means an awful lot 💜

It's Mother's day in just 8 days, and we've been busy behind the scenes getting prepared for our busiest week of the year. We are taking orders for collections on Friday and Saturday (not Sunday this year sorry) and deliveries throughout the weekend including Sunday. To place an order for a Flowersmiths bouquet, drop us a call during shop hours or head to our website. We close our order books every year once we reach capacity, so please don't wait too long to get those orders in 💜
