Steel Images is a Family run business based in Lincolnshire, designing and producing a large range of metal products for the home and business. We use mild steel between 1.2mm - 6.0mm thick carefully selecting the most suitable for each individual piece. Here at Steel Images all items are produced from start to finish by us in our workshops using modern technology to create quality British made pr

oducts that we are proud to put our name to. We may use modern technology but we are proud to hold on to our old fashioned values and high standards of customer service. All products are finished in a durable polyester powder coated finish which is suitable for indoor or outdoor use and can be offered in a whole range of colours . Steel Images are looking for a Junior Website Manager to join their online team and take responsibility for the maintenance of two (soon to be more) websites serving both trade and retail customers with our range of UK made outdoor products.

Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the online product catalogue for all websites

o Adding new products
o Maintaining existing products
o Working with other team members to ensure pricing is correct
o Cross referencing website catalogue with other marketing channels to ensure all products are available for retail or trade customers to buy directly
o Turning bullet pointed product features into good quality product descriptions

- Improve the performance of the websites

o Monitor and report on website traffic and trends using Google Analytics
o Suggest website improvements to enhance performance and sales
o Ensure product pages are enhanced correctly for maximum SEO benefit

What we need:
- A basic knowledge of HTML
- A good level of written English
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- A strong work ethic with high attention to detail
- Your own transport, our office is in a rural location

What would give you an edge:
- SEO knowledge
- Previous experience (of any kind) working on ecommerce platforms
- A detailed knowledge of HTML
- Being good at manipulating product images using some form of design software
- Being able to speak German

Steel Images is based in Wrangle near Boston, Lincolnshire. We manufacture and produce a range of outdoor garden products, signage, and striking metal wall art which we ship all over the world.

Interviews will be in two stages (to be arranged in-line with COVID 19 safety protocol) and will include a short technical test comprising of basic HTML construction for product description and a practical test turning a list of bullet points into a well written product description.
