Meet BeadAble…a little tool I designed to make threading beads easier, particularly for makers who struggle with dexterity. 🫶

From a little idea, to a prototype, to seeing it manufactured and now ready to launch on TV… what a journey! 😭✨

💎 THIS IS WHY I LOVE PERMANENT JEWELLERY! 💎

This lovely lady originally had her bracelet welded with me, but when she came back to see me at Chapel Fun Day, she felt it had become a little too big and asked if I could adjust it.

As soon as I looked at the chain, I could see what had happened…the links had stretched and elongated. I put a brand-new piece of the same chain around her wrist so we could compare them side by side, and you can really see the difference in the photos!

She must have caught or snagged it at some point without realising, because here’s the really important part…

✨ THE WELD DIDN’T BREAK… AND NEITHER DID THE CHAIN! ✨

The chain itself had stretched under the pressure, but it didn’t snap or break, and the weld held perfectly!

I get so many people saying to me:
“I’d love a permanent bracelet, but I’d definitely break it!”

Well, this is a pretty good example of just how much these little chains can actually take!

Obviously, permanent jewellery isn’t indestructible and chains can stretch or become damaged if they’re caught badly…but a good quality chain and a properly done weld can be surprisingly strong.

I adjusted her bracelet back to the perfect fit and she then chose a matching bracelet for her little girl. 🥰

Just a reminder though….her little girl’s bracelet is NOT permanent. It has a clasp and can be removed.

For safety and insurance reasons, I will not weld permanent jewellery onto anyone under the age of 10. Safety always comes first!

So there you go… a little real-life test of one of my dainty chains! 😂

Permanent doesn’t mean indestructible… but it certainly doesn’t mean it’s going to snap the first time you catch it either! 😉✨
