Join The Touring Potter at Such a Beautiful Day in Westbourne for a 3 week pottery course!

Learn how to throw on the potters wheel! Tuition and guidance will be given throughout so all levels of ability are welcome. £120.00 pp all tuition, materials and kiln firing is included in this price.

Course outline.

Week 1- learn how to center clay on the wheel and throw vessels such as pots, bowls and mugs.

Week 2 - trim/ turn all your handthrown makes on the wheel to create footrings.

Week 3 - glazing! Use colourful stoneware glazes and underglazes to finish your pieces.

At the end of the course all items will need a second firing and will be delivered to Such a Beautiful Day for collection. You will be notified on delivery.
