🦖 JURASSIC PARTICLES CATCH REPORT 🦕

Team member Karl has been making the most of the early syndicate action.

The syndicate opened on 16th June and rather than waiting to get on the big pit, Karl decided to spend his time on the smaller lake. It proved to be a great move.

Over the session he landed 12 takes in total, enjoying some busy and rewarding fishing along the way.

The winning combination? DNA Baits The Bug paired with Jurassic Particles H**p. A simple but effective approach that kept the bites coming.

A few carp from recent trips for Team Jurassic member Karl.

The fish have definitely been switched on to the naturals, so Karl has been keeping them interested with plenty of h**p and insect meal going in. It's a simple approach that's been producing the goods.

These captures are also a great reminder that you don't always need long sessions to get results. A few well-planned short trips can be just as effective when you're on the fish and giving them what they want.

🦖 JURASSIC PARTICLES CATCH REPORT 🦕

Team member Richard has been putting our Shelf Life H**p to work on his local park lake.

After getting his first bites a few weeks ago using the h**p, he landed this cracking 17lb scaley warrior, the biggest of three carp during the session.

Keeping it simple was the key. Just two scoops of Shelf Life H**p and a handful of chopped boilies per bite was enough to keep the fish feeding and the rods bending.

Great result Richard and proof that a straightforward approach with quality bait can be incredibly effective.

🦖 JURASSIC PARTICLES CATCH REPORT 🦕

A great warm-up session for Team Jurassic member Jason last week before heading off to France this week!

Jason spent the day on a private lake to get some much-needed bait boat practice ahead of his trip and ended up banking 6 carp to 15lb 12oz. Nothing huge, but plenty of action and mission accomplished.

He started by putting out the last of his Jurassic Particles h**p and maize across three spots before topping up with Mulberry Fizz boilies, both whole and crushed, from Max Attract Baits. He also wrapped his leads in Mulberry Fizz paste, with every fish falling to Max Attract Baits hookbaits. 🎣

Well done Jason. It's always good to get a confidence-building session under your belt before a big trip.

There are moments beside a lake that seem untouched by time.

That first cast into a quiet bay.

The gentle movement of reeds in a warm evening breeze.

A kingfisher flashing across the surface like a shard of blue glass.

The soft plop of a feeding carp somewhere beyond the lilies.

These are the moments that draw us back.

Not just the fish, although they are the prize. Not just the photographs or the stories that follow. But the feeling of being part of something older, slower, and far more important than the rush of everyday life.

The lakes are alive now. The margins are stirring. Carp are moving through the w**d beds and under overhanging branches, following ancient routes they've travelled for years.

A session to remember for Team Jurassic member Karl, who landed his biggest-ever carp from the big pit.

Using DNABaits The Bug over a bed of Jurassic Particles h**p, Karl managed to keep the bites coming and was rewarded with this stunning fish.

H**p remains one of the most effective particles for holding fish in the swim and encouraging them to feed with confidence. Combined with a proven bait approach, it was a winning formula on this occasion.

🦖 JURASSIC PARTICLES CATCH REPORT 🦕

After a couple of weeks away enjoying a fantastic camping holiday, Team Jurassic member Richard returned to the bank with perfect timing. The carp had spawned while he was away, and the weather was serving up everything anglers dream of. Strong winds, rain, and low pressure.

With the gardening plans cancelled by the weather, Richard was lakeside by 10am on Tuesday morning and quietly confident after seeing plenty of carp showing in a windward end swim that has produced for him over the years.

The first 24 hours tested that confidence. A pike, a tench, and a lost carp wasn't quite the start he had hoped for.

After a rethink the following morning, Richard switched hookbaits, repositioned his bait onto a couple of spots he had fancied for years, and settled in for another wait.

The move paid off. At 04:45 the following morning, the first carp finally slipped over the net cord, followed by another just before lunchtime.

Despite ideal conditions, the action remained slow, with another 24 hours passing without a single bleep. Richard believes the fish simply weren't ready for a proper feed after spawning.

The successful approach was kept simple. Nutrabaits EnerGize hookbaits did the damage, fished over a light spread of Nutrabaits boilies, pellets, and small Spombs of Jurassic Particles, alongside Godman Angling mesh bags.

Sometimes persistence, confidence in your swim choice, and keeping the baiting approach sensible are what make the difference.
