Founded by chocolate entrepreneur Gerry Wilton in 2004, Chocolate Delight were the second company to have a commercial chocolate fountain in the UK. Establishing itself as market leaders in chocolate fountains, Chocolate Delight were soon called upon by corporates, event companies and celebrities to provide the unique product. Followed soon after by selling fountains both across the UK and interna
tionally. These have built in to weekly events operating around the country. After the success of this Gerry then implemented chocolate team building events, which has seen Chocolate Delight work in Spain, France, Hong Kong and Singapore. With Chocolate Delight taking the world by storm, Gerry saw the opportunity to expand and bought a beautiful but out dated 19th century grade II listed hotel. Christmas 2007 saw the renovation of the building to become The Chocolate Boutique Hotel. The Chocolate Boutique Hotel is the only chocolate themed hotel in the world and is run by the Wilton family. Chocolate Delight continues to be innovative and has recently introduced new ideas to the world of chocolate with the introduction of The Big Chocolate Picture and Chocolate Portrait Painting. Just lately Chocolate Delight have worked with top Belgian chocolatier Laurent Gerbaud and now offer a very unique experience involving chocolate, wine and spirit tasting. Gerry introduced Hong Kong and Singapore to the world of chocolate teambuilding to over 40 multi-nationals, which has never been done before. The feedback was incredible and they found the experience ‘tremendously exciting’ and ‘innovative’. In more recent news, Gerry is introducing the concept of chocolate events into the world of travel and is currently rolling out workshops on board P&O and Fred Olsen Cruises as well as in holiday resorts around the world
