Knot Sew Old The past recycled

Using a mix of patterns I have acquired over the years, altering them and with some original ideas, giving a slight vintage or retro look.

Some items use recycled, repurposed fabric. I have been sewing and crafting for as long as I can remember. Encouraged and influenced by my mother and grandmother who was a tailoress. I have learnt many crafts over the years, crochet knitting, patchwork etc tried my hand at lacemaking and tatting. My favourite is hand embroidery. I attend a monthly textile class and love learning new techniques.

About a year ago I started as a volunteer Conservation Assistant at Highcliffe Castle. I now stage the kitchen display monthly. Crafty items from dead rabbits to wedding cakes.
Loving this new role, I made the decision that I will no longer be selling on any platforms for the time being.
I hope you will continue to follow me as I update with various makes for the kitchen.
