So many thoughts and feelings to express as a black female creative, so many experiences that we brush off and keep going. So much admiration for those doing the work to make real sustainable change.

Im excited to bring my next project to the world, it's needed in times like this and times to come but until then here's a little piece of solidarity.

Repost

When poetry meets art and technology... augmented reality!
Recently I was commissioned to write a poem for the incredible to be used as part of her exhibition 'Energy Wonderland' which launched last night. .
Energy Wonderland is an exploration of vivid emotion, taking the viewer on a journey down the rabbit hole of wonder, musings and intense energy of artist Roxanne Williams.
The installation presents a selection of interactive digital, mixed media and acrylic works. Both charging and alluring, whilst exploring the intangible through abstraction, portraiture and prose.
Roxanne will be transforming the Dear Alice speakeasy downstairs in the Library Members club, Central London for 3 days until 9th November 2019.
Go check it out!! .
