Trying one of Indonesia’s cakes!

I’d been seeing these cakes everywhere while travelling around Bali and Gili Air, so I had to see what all the hype was about. They’re so light, fluffy, and almost sponge-like that I couldn’t resist giving one a try.

Safe to say, I was pleasantly surprised! 🙌 They were actually really tasty—soft, airy, and the perfect little snack. I’ll definitely be picking up another one before I leave! 😋

My garden is an absolute sun trap, so I’m putting these sweets to the test! 😱

I’m leaving them out in the sunshine for 6 hours to see which ones survive… and which ones turn into a sticky disaster! 👀
