This sums me up as a crafter, I make bright colourful happy creations from crazy made to measure waistcoats to little crocheted creatures. I started my creative journey at a young age making cardboard house for my Sylvania family and outfits for my Barbie dolls. I took it to the next level when I left school and went on to study Fashion design and pattern cutting at Bournemouth university. With a
more-is-more ethos I create crazy one of a kind custom outfits to help you connect with your inner child. I use bright patterned fabric embellished with Sequins, tassels, bells and magic because life is too short to wear boring clothes! Last year I purchased a Cricut Maker and I have been discovering all the ways I can use this to enhance my wardrobe creations. In lockdown I discovered granny square crochet and more recently Amigurumi, I have not put down my hook since. I have been making everything from clothing to Christmas wreaths. I enjoy how quickly you can create a fun little gift, as well as the longer clothing projects it has definitely kept my attention span from wondering. I live with my partner and two beautiful tuxedo cats, Duncan & Princess Dorothea. When I am not crafting you can find me in my garden or down the allotment, I love being outside in nature and playing with animals. Where you believe there is magic… you will find it!
