🩷💜💙💚💛🧡❤️ Last week we layered-up the very first quilt from our year long Block of the Month course making the Alice Caroline ‘Alice’s Wonderland Sampler Quilt’. Becki joined us, having done a bit of sewing before but really wanted to learn a lot more. Making 100 blocks, sashing and 4 borders has done exactly that and wow, what a result. She mainly used fabrics from her stash and bits and pieces she really liked along the way resulting in this really fun and bright quilt. What an achievement!

🩷She’s now going to hand quilt it and we can’t wait to see how beautiful it will look then!

❤️This is the first* of 14 students so keep your eyes peeled for more to come! (*Liberty Linda was technically the first but she cheated 😆so I can’t officially count hers as the first. Hers is gorgeous though!)

💙🩵Want to make your own?? You can! We are offering classes for this bag and lots of other fabulous things this Autumn. Details for all the classes are on the website in ‘Classes & Courses’ (top of the homepage) and the ‘Everything Bag’ will be taught on either Saturdays 12th and 19th September or Tuesday 17th and 24th November (you choose either Saturdays or Tuesdays).💙🩵 A pattern will follow early next year.

💷Cost: £200 includes pattern and expert tuition. Monthly payment option available too.

🖊️ Learn to make this beautiful lapquilt completely by hand. Each lesson we will focus on different blocks and sewing techniques taking you right from choosing your fabrics and piecing each block to hand quilting and finishing with a beautiful binding. This course is open to all abilities whether you’ve never sewn before or want to make this lap quilt a little more mindfully than sewing with a machine.

🖊️ A Dresden plate quilt with a Halloween twist. An opportunity for some lovely fussy-cutting, handsewing the EPP dresdens then hand or machine applique (your choice) and finishing with sashing, borders, quilting and binding. Great for beginners wanting to learn a wide range of skills.

Classes start in September and run right through to December. 🧵We have a Block of the Month, courses, a few short courses and even a few stand alone day classes on offer with a mix of seasonal and everyday themes.
