It would be wrong to not celebrate National Fudge Day without some awesome news.

As you will know, I took the decision to close the business earlier in the year with the intention of selling it to someone who wanted to continue to make beautiful American soft style fudge. With this in mind, I’m pleased to say that a deal has been made with a local Banbury based company. Tess’ Brilliant Bakes.

2019 saw us set to have the biggest year to date with over 30 shows up and down the country. When the pandemic hit, we were left with no choice but to adapt and go online. We were overwhelmed with the local support during 2020, but as the shops opened, our online trading took a massive hit. As our regular shows started to go ahead with extra covid safety precautions, we re-branded and updated some of our packaging and were delighted to see so many faces returning back. Despite all our best efforts, this hasn’t been enough to keep us ticking over.

Apologises.
Unfortunately, we will not be attending our pre-planned event tomorrow at Rushden Lakes. We have been weather watching all week and even with the winds predicted to be better than today, we still have our display and marquee to protect and Rushden is generally quite breezy anyway due to the layout/location. That with the anticipated temperatures feeling like -5°C we cant risk it. Sorry to those who were planning on visiting.
