All ready for tomorrow with some fantastic book releases and the new 40K combat patrol set.

Not only that but new Old Workd and Blood Bowl up on pre-order alongside the new White Dwarf and the special edition of Bjorn.

In store I still have the new mini of the month so why not pop down and get yourself a new ork boy to test your painting on.

I will also be running sessions on how to paint Blood Ravens and I will still be helping you master the art of basing so your models can look amazing on the tabletop.

Its been getting busy in store as more of you have popped down to build the mini of the month or join me for a hobby lesson like yesterdays painting faces session. All these great activities also add to the summer campaign in store and its quite comments to see theatres changing hands multiple times during a day.
Whilst all this was going on I managed to squeeze some more colour onto the wartrak but hes not done yet 😀

Today brings many new joys from the Ogor Mawtribes army set to all the Necromunda updates and new set.

I've also got the new mini of the month, the Ork Boy and the new coin for the Aeldari Exodites and this one is earned in the normal manner(spend £60 and you earn it)

Also any in store activity will earn you points in the summer campaign so building the mini of the month or a Battle Honour session helps both you and your chosen faction so head on down.

Next week I will also be running ork skin painting sessions and how to paint cheques and dags so if you'd like help with your ork boy give me a shout and ill get you all sorted 😀

Many of you have already been in and taken part in an activity from building the latest mini of the month(the Fellgore Ravager and there are still some left if you've not had a go yet) to others that have been trying the hobby for the first time. Mason tried his hand at improving his painting skills learning how to thin his paints.
Each of these activities also allow you to contribute to our summer campaign over Armageddon. Currently the Orks are holding Acheron whilst the Deadlands and Volcanus theatres are hotly contested. Make sure you get the chance to do your part by joining me in store over the holidays :)

Since my return I have been adding more colour to the stores 40K set and at the moment I'm enjoying working on the Librarian. There's lots to do still but I'm enjoying getting my brush to work again.

++ Summer Activities Update ++
++ Combat Patrol/Spearheads parade +++
The premise is simple visit the store and choose any Warhammer 40,000 Combat Patrol, Age of Sigmar spearhead, Get Started with Space Marines/Orks or the Warhammer 40,000 Starter Set* or Age of Sigmar Spearhead starter box* and fill in the sign up sheet! *Only 1 force needed
Build and paint your chosen box over the course of the summer! On Saturday 5th September we'll be having a celebration day to bring in your chosen box to have it photographed!
If you'd to bring your own mini board and terrain for the photos even better! Half of the terrain and one board section from a Combat Patrol Battlezone is perfect or use the City of Ash gaming pack!
I'll be on hand throughout the summer to aid you in learning any new building or painting skills should you require it!
Which Combat Patrol/spearhead will you choose?

Well the weekend is over but it bought even more cool things. This weekend will see Necromunda get a face lift with a new starter set as well as updated rulebooks for ease of play and new underhive crew boxes to make building your gang of choice as simple as possible.

We are also just about to see the return of Trazyn and Orikan in their latest book the Wicked and the Warped. This will be available in both hardback and collectors editions and the original Infinite and Divine will be returning in hardback so you can have both matching on the shelf(If you just want to get caught up I have the paperback in store now and it is a glorious read)

Finally the latest mini of the month and coin have been announced and will be available from 10am Saturday. I will have Orks ready to be built and next week I will be running workshops on Ork flesh, as well as checker patterns and dags. There is also a new coin and this one returns to the normal format.

Don't forget that all week I am here to support your Battle Honour needs and to help you learn new skills. We are also running the summer campaign to battle over the 5 zones of Armageddon. So far the Imperium has stolen an early lead in Volcanus and Deadlands theatres but there is still lots to fight for and everytime you take part in any activity in store you too can contribute set head on down and join in to show your support :)
