🎯CANCELLED: DARTS COMPETITION 🎯

Unfortunately, it's two days running now with some disappointing news. We've taken the decision to cancel the Darts Competition planned for Saturday 11 July.

We've been advertising this for months but the level of interest has been minimal, and we simply have no option but to cancel. Huge apologies to anyone who was hoping to take part, we'd love to try again in future if we can get a better response.

If we're brutally honest, we're really disappointed to be reducing opening hours and cancelling events we'd genuinely hoped would bring new and regular faces through the door. Community spaces like this only survive if they're used, and we don't want to be telling you in a few years that the Pie Hall and Bar 1788 aren't here anymore.

We know times are tough, and everyone has to be mindful of where they spend their time and money. So here's what we're asking: if you've got positive, constructive ideas for what could get you through the door, events, nights, anything, we genuinely want to hear them.

And if you're going to comment asking why we're not open more, or why something's been cancelled, please pair it with an idea... We can only keep these spaces going with your help, not just your feedback.

Thank you - and please note Bar 1788 will now be closed all day on Saturday contrary to the opening hours we'd posted at the beginning of the week.
