Rowan Tree: Magic, Folklore & Storytelling Workshops (Free)

Join us for a gentle journey into the magical world of the Rowan tree.

Discover fascinating facts about this beautiful native tree, explore its rich folklore and traditional associations with protection, inspiration and enchantment, and enjoy a short retelling of the Celtic tale of Diarmuid and Gráinne, the lovers who found refuge beneath a sacred Rowan while fleeing a fearsome giant.

The session concludes with a guided pathworking meditation inspired by the symbolism and spirit of the Rowan, offering an opportunity for reflection, creativity and connection with nature.

No prior knowledge or experience is needed—simply bring your curiosity and imagination. 🌿✨

I've been busy hunting for mirrors for my new range of forest mirrors featuring light up mushrooms and my husband said: "Nope! We're keeping this one." I think he was right; I love it 😁. Don't worry I have equally stunning mirrors to craft something beautiful. Can't wait to share them with you. 🍄🪞

Not long to go for the next Free Folklore Friday. A relaxed Friday only sharing of folklore and magic of the woodlands' flora and fauna. This week features the Rowan Tree and a folktale about Thor. Joining link is in the reel. Hopefully you will join us for free. 🌳🍄🌟

Pleased with this. Recycled glass coffee jar, cutting out tissues for decoupage, carving the tree spirit. All took time and patience, but I think it was worth the effort.

Bonus that each task was like a little meditation.
