I just heard some very sad news that Damien (Sure D) one of my friends and Lacey’s Vinyl customers has sadly passed away.
Damien has been coming to mine for several years and quite often came for the peace and quiet of Lacey’s Vinyl and his passion and enthusiasm for music where he would spend hours digging through the racks especially for his Latin and jazz that he especially liked.
Damien introduced me to Dom who has became a good friend and the 3 of us always enjoyed there visit to Lacey’s Vinyl.
Damien & Dom has the record of longest visit to Lacey’s Vinyl, 7 and a half hours!!!
Damien used to bring a pizza for me to cook and I’ve learnt from him some tips when cooking my own pizza, thank you Damien 👌🙂
RIP Damien and keep the music playing.

Paul Alner was dropped off this morning to get an early train home from Lacey’s Vinyl after spending the weekend gathering information for his next volume of Elvis On Record, we also went to see the oracle Dick for more important information for Paul’s next book, it was a great weekend and Paul was in very good voice as always, looking forward to the next visit so see you soon 🙂
